Paraguay (ranked 34th worldwide) defeats Germany (ranked 12th) and a perennial power in penalty kicks.

Germany physically hammered the Paraguayan keeper Orlando Gill. Germany had possession 75% of the match. Pounded and pounded but Paraguay stayed on it.

Great game.

with a coach that can't put together a competitive team. They're in a down cycle. Just like Brazil, Italy.

Time for Germany to call Klopp.

2018 - They finished last in their group and went home.

2022 - They finished 3rd in their group and went home.

2026 - Out in the round of 32.
