Elect me to Congress. I can get rid of Trump in one bill.

We will title it the Gravy Train Termination Act of 2027.

1. Any president wishing to spend time in a property that he personally owns shall provide nonconsumable items, to wit Lodging, Golf Cart Rentals, Greens Fees or any other item of a similar nature at no cost to the government.

2. No government agency will contract with the president or any member of his family for the provision of goods or services. The employment of any relative of the president is grounds for disqualifying a private-sector firm from government acquisition contracting.

3. Any consumable item used by government employees during a stay detailed in Paragraph 1 will be purchased directly from the vendor with government funds, and at no time will any agency owned, controlled or otherwise affiliated with the president or his family sell any consumable item to the government.

4. The Secret Service shall monitor utilities utilization, including but not limited to electricity, natural gas, water, sewer and garbage service, and shall directly reimburse the utility.

5. Any government official utilizing taxpayer-funded transportation for official travel shall not participate in personal or recreational activities during said travel.

It would require strong enforcement with stiff penalties, as well. If it doesn’t hurt, it’s not really worth the paper it’s written on.

4. Those are the terms every president before Trump abided by, and I thought they were required by law. Cons are experts
