The reason why SpaceX has been buying Cybertrucks
According to reports by the LA Times and Bloomberg based on data from Kelley Blue Book, Cybertruck sales dropped 48.1 percent in 2025.
But the situation is even more dire than that, because registration data that they cited reveals that 1,279 Cybertrucks were bought by SpaceX, and that Musks other companies xAI, Neuralink, and The Boring Company.
