They clearly and blatantly broke the law. I don't know what will happen next, but you can take it to the bank that this judge will be hopping mad at the DOJ.

DOJ arguments are, effectively,

It's all victims names and stuff, so we can't release it..just trust us

We gave it to congress already

Congress can go look at what we haven't

The redacted copy we have in the office, is the only copy we can find, and we've no idea where the original is.

(Oh and we still want another 60 days in case Judge Sullivan reads us the riot act for not complying SO WE CAN APPEAL).

This is the DOJ telling the court that only CONGRESS can tell us what to do with this stuff and how to do it; who the fuck is either the court OR katie to say different.
