The repukes in Washington and FIFA

A few weeks ago, during brunch at a restaurant, something occurred to me. Here large parts of the world were watching the World Baseball Classic, and those things in Washington were focusing on a stupid senseless war.

Now FIFA is going on, more people are watching, and those things in Washington are still focused on the war and other personal agenda items. I'm NOT saying they should be focused on FIFA, but they are so locked inside their bubbles that they can't even notice what people in the world really want and are interested in, and it ain't stupid wars and that %&^$#& in the Oval Office.

Those bubbles must have incredibly thick walls.

It is how we have the colosseum. I get that we need some escapes from the crap that’s happening in our government. BUt you need to understand that they are all designed to distract the overall population from focusing too much on them.
