CNN is presenting a lot of normal July 4 celebrations and music
Totally ignoring you know who. I can see an upside to doing that, but I think they should at least touch on his insane comments from last night.
Also, they were just showing Kool and the Gang doing "Celebration" live. I started wondering where they were performing, because I knew damn well it wasn't D.C. So I backed up and listened to the announcer who said it was Napa, California. Just a short drive from me.
I wonder if showing all of this good music and normality without clearly identifying where it is from is a way of implying to casual viewers that everything's totally normal. Maybe some of them even assume the concerts are from DC.
