Google/YouTube is OFFICIALLY trying to move the videos to the right.

Or at least, their tech support people are doing so.

In the past 2 weeks, I have been totally unable to post comments on anyone's videos. All of my strictly political "subscriptions" on YouTube are leaning to the left, so now when I open YouTube, they are only popping up the oldest...not the most recent...liberal leaning videos. The shorts that they are putting on my feed are right leaning propaganda.

I have to hunt and search for the latest news that is not maga-laced propaganda, singing praises of trump, musk and clarence thomas.

What a stinking pile of shit.

1. Not only that..... you find your account unsubscribed from more liberal sites. Even though you didn't touch a thing.

This is BS.

Have they been deleting them? Like IHIP news and Social Democrats?

As far as I can tell every one of them is a mindfuck.

10. I use the delete button and no more Reddit, Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok

Anything with a feed has an agenda unaligned with my own. Feeds are for bored, lazy people who just want to graze like sheep in a pasture. Sorry not sorry.

I don't patronize any channels except the ones I subscribe to directly. It makes it so much better.

6. How do you block them?

I'd love to know how so that I can get rid of that crap. Do I have to have a paid YouTube subscription to block sites?

9. The thumbnail video of every posting includes a three-dot menu.

Usually in the upper right corner. Click on it, and it will drop down a menu with selections. If you want to hide that particular video, click ‘Not Interested’. If you want to block the channel that posted it, click ‘Do Not Recommend Channel’.

Whenever I do either, I immediately refresh the site, so it changes the algorithm based on the blocks I just made. The change is usually infinitesimal, but sooner or later, you get content much more attuned to your tastes.

use the don't like, don't recommend, and block channel features religiously to train your algorithm
