Would you wear a Trump hat for $10,000?

A liberal podcaster named Shapiro is playing the Main Event at the World Series of Poker. He says he hates Trump more than anyone else does, except for Melania. A conservative frenemy, also a podcaster playing the Main, offered to pay Shapiro’s $10,000 buy-in to the tournament if he would wear a Trump hat throughout the tournament. Shapiro is wearing the hat.

Playing the Main is number one on my bucket list, but I don’t know that I could wear the Trump hat, even though I can’t afford the buy-in, especially since the tournament is streamed live.

For one thing, that isn't even "for $10K," it is for a $10K equivalent -- which isn't the same thing, to me, because I care not for playing poker tournaments and do not have the relevant experience or skill to have any expectation of extracting any prize money. So that "$10K" to me is worth just about 0. Would I wear a Trump hat for nothing? Hell no.

And they'll cover expenses, like flying me (first class, of course) to somewhere where I don't know anyone? And they'll cover the tax aspect? Can I wear another hat over the T-hat - red's not my color?

Additionally, this signals hypocrisy on WSOP’s part. They wouldn’t let Justin Bonomo wear a keffiyeh because it was “political,”. But they are allowing the Trump hat. One possible difference is that Bonomo was on the TV featured table and Shapiro isn’t. They did do a short bit about the Trump hat situation though.
