Seriously, the fearmongers are going to have a hard time selling this as a horrible thing the way Mamdani is going at it. 
New York City just approved $1,000 college savings accounts for every public school kindergartner. Every single one of them. This is the largest program of its kind in the country. Your child's education and future should not be determined by the neighborhood you live in. When we invest in our children early we are investing in the FUTURE of our communities.
