If Donnie's minions can arrest someone who stuck his hand in the Reflecting Pool, surely they'll spare no effort to make sure these dastardly pyromaniacs will be seized and prosecuted to the full extent of the law - or at least be fined and made to clean up after themselves.

Of course, then [Redacted] would claim that was his plan all along.

The sacred green pool desecrated by fireworks debris!

Won't someone think of the poor algae?

Always wondered what the heavy metal components of most fireworks does to fish and other aquatic life when they are let off over or near water.

Where have they set up the fireworks in prior years? Why did they abandon that location this year? I would think that the location would vary depending on the prevailing winds aloft. Once again, not much brain power to be found anywhere with this Trump crew.

Last years' DC fireworks were 7,000. For comparison NY City does 85,000.

They were launched from 10 locations including both sides of the reflecting pool, grounds of the Washington Monument and barges on the Potomac.

Someone on Reddit calculated they shot off 354 fireworks per second - 850,000 fireworks divided by 40 minutes display time (2,400 seconds).

Who would do something so stupid? Especially after all the problems at the pool lately.
