Trump is the "swamp" and "deep state" that he warned you about.
The "swamp" are the billionaires that control the levers of power in this country. Trump has more billionaires around him and in his Cabinet that any president in history. He has used the White House like his personal ATM machine.
The Reflection Pool, in an ironic twist, symbolized just how "swampy" this regime can be. It only took them a few days to turn the the entire pool green with slimy algae. Of course, Trump blamed "vandals" for his obvious screw up.
Also, Trump wanted his supporters to believe that he would take over and clean out the "deep state". In doing so, he buried the Epstein files and refused to make them public. Much as he refused to make the secret documents, that were taken from Mar-a-Lago, public. Much like he hid documents related to criminal investigations. He took over the"deep state" and fired everyone that he thought was disloyal.
Much to the chagrin of many of his supporters, he was the "swamp" and "deep state" that they had been fighting for so long.
