And large media outlets are either in on it, or getting bought up by billionaires who are in on it.

(3,694 posts)Its not about putting up with corruption and incompetence; nor does it have anything to do with passivity.
If we could get rid of the fascist Trump regime, we would.
What those outside of the US need to understand is that there are no mechanics of American governance allowing the people to remove Trump from power; the states elected Trump, not the people and only the states (Senate) can remove Trump, but Senate Republican refuse to convict.
Indeed, its a tragic flaw of American governance, that the people are excluded from the political process, that the peoples participation is tenuous and indirect, the Senate, executive, and courts immune from the will of the people, acting contrary to the will of the people with impunity.
