A thought about the allegation.

This post isn't a told you so or about his guilt. I have no clue how this all ends.

Just want to point out, as I've already seen talking heads like ( Charles Blow) lament that Felon34 has been convicted of sexual assault and Justice Kavanaugh has been credibly accused of rape. Both times, they were able to easily gain their positions of power. Many on DU will be pointing out the hypocrisy in yet another Democrat being taken down by assault allegations.

Felon34 and Kavanaugh get to gain their positions of power as their Republican voter will excuse anything they do or are accused of.
They get that benefit because Felon34 excuses Republicans' hatred of women, gays, blacks, immigrants, trans, native people, etc.
That's why there will always be a difference in how Democrats and Republicans react to allegations of any type of wrongdoing about their candidates.

He will not win now. He is finished. He will not be able to raise funds. The ads will be vicious. And we do not know how many other women are out there with similar stories.
He has to resign now.

I would push back on the idea that talking about a sexual assault is "piling on."

The national Democrats will force him out. He is a threat to our chances to win
the Senate. He will be gone by tomorrow night.
