It would appear that the person who was the next highest rank on the ballot would become the candidate. That would be either Gov. Mills or Mr. Costello, can't recall his title at the moment.
I think Mills came in second behind platner so, I hope, it will be Mills, whom I voted for in the primary as my first choice.

What a mess this whole thing has turned out to be, though I kind of expected it months ago. I'm glad there is time to reset with another candidate. Not the greatest situation but all is not lost yet.
