Now I'm really puzzled. He raped me but I'm not telling people not to vote for him.

Jake Tapper : "When people hear this from you, are you saying you should not vote for him because of what happened?"

Jenny Racicot : "I'm not going to go as far as to say that. I'm just here to tell my story, to give a clearer picture of who he is and the type of past that he has and I just think it's fair to the democratic process to let people know who they're voting for."

I don't think she wants to be accused of making up a story because she is a republican (like his other ex was being accused of). I mean, she is not a republican, but if she told people not to vote for him, people would accuse her of being a Collins supporter.

Or perhaps she's afraid of getting threats in the future. I'm not saying the perp will necessarily do this, but there are lots of crazy people out there.

Essentially, Trump has pretty much destroyed our morality base, and voters no longer feel anchored to morality, if it means continuing the present power structure. The key is to correct the situation once we have the upper hand. As in, recall planter after the election.

She thinks voters should decide. What's wrong with that?

Apparently Maine Democrats are calling for him to step down.

She has to deal with him being a rapist and supporting a bunch of things that she supports. That a man she liked enough to be in a relationship with could attack her. Lots of victims struggle with

People are often complicated. My biological dad is an abusive ass who's also a rapist, but he's a Democrat and did legitimately good work as a nurse with people suffering from HIV/AIDS. Not everyone is Trump who is a cartoon villain in his devotion to being a universally shitty human.
