Why is there scaffolding around the front of the White House?

What would happen if he tore down the White House? Seriously.

Would anybody do anything?

Maybe he's just going to take the letters that were taken off the Kennedy Center and put them on the White House? Surely no one would have a problem with that?

Why hasn't the press asked?

Or he will install a tacky gold sign saying “The White House” as if we didn’t already know.

11. It is that. Multiple admin people have said so, that Corinthian columns are better.

No-class glutton and his minions think more is better, categorically. Corinthian are more ornate, ergo better.

...of the wealthy businessman that became President. He came into politics bragging about how wealthy he was...only the finest tastes in everything elegant...But he was a businessman.

But so was Jimmy Carter. Jimmy was a peanut farmer - one of the largest in the state of Georgia, maybe? But Jimmy was a different type of "businessman". He was honest and worked for peanuts.

It would be hard to stop the "swamp" rumors.

They have claimed this scaffolding is for routine maintenance but that’s probably another lie. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are gone by morning.
