New York to ban smart glasses from all courthouses

Beginning on July 20, all eyewear or headwear that contains cameras, microphones or other recording technology will not be allowed inside any Unified Court System facilities, according to a memo from the Office of Court Administration.

The ban applies to more than 1,240 state, county, city, town and village courts.

Prescription glasses with recording capabilities will also not be allowed, the memo said.

The ban is to prevent people from secretly recording court proceedings in violation of state law and court regulations, the memo stated.

1. So, they will have to have a person with technical knowledge of smart glasses available to inspect all glasses?

there being no 'right to no'.

And if you've sweated to create something and it can be seen or heard, you have no right to ownership of the idea. Because everybody has a right to know everything about you.

Checking a lot of things isn't that hard. But I get the apparent paranoia from College Board.

When the Indian medical test info was 'leaked,' I never heard how--somebody with access to the physical copies to remove or photocopy, or somebody who had a phone or computer or glasses and decided to void 10s of thousand of person hours because, "Hey, me! I great!" Maybe for a bit o' money. But it boils down to corruption and egotism.
