(24,977 posts)I can't claim to know what he did, but by the time you concede your campaign is tanked, maybe don't lay it all on "The Establishment" of the big bad Democratic Party considering what they're/we're up against.
As for all the allegations being false, that might have been slightly believable if he tried in any way to investigate them (as he mentioned), or shed light on evidence to hint at some doubt.

(2,404 posts)And who's the entrenched political apparatus? He was running in an open primary not against someone in that office for decades.
And then centering himself as if it's simply because people don't like him and not that he's a a deeply flawed human being.

(37,886 posts)major donor fundraising retreat at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this coming weekend. Attendees were asked to contribute $44,300 to participate in the special weekend to discuss the party's strategy and campaigns for taking back the Democratic Senate majority. I suspect Maine is now top of their agenda.

(4,458 posts)Lawrence O'Donnell is on MSNOW twice -- his 10:00 PM show is repeated three hours later at 1:00 AM.
If you missed him at 10:00, it's worth it to stay up and watch him at 1:00 -- or at least record it for viewing later.
As we would say in Mississippi, Lawrence got a'hold of Platner and beat that boy like you'd beat a borrowed mule!!!!

(797 posts)Most of this shit was readily available for months - the Totenkopf, the Reddit posts, his privileged background - yet none of that was brought up in any serious way by O'Donnell. So sorry, a bit late to the party.

(8,350 posts)...crafted by political consultants, designed to lie to his supporters by deliberately portraying him as something he is not.
Can we please leave the lying & deceit to the other party? Can we please be better than that?
Is that really too much to ask from Democrats?
