Person allegedly killed during ICE operation in Maine
One person was reportedly shot and killed during an ICE operation in Biddeford, Maine, according to the state’s speaker of the house, Ryan Fecteau.

“This morning a shooting occurred in Biddeford. A person was killed. ICE was involved. State Police and the Department of Public Safety are now on scene to gather details and would expect the FBI to investigate as well,” he said.

Police confirmed to local news that the area where the shooting was reported has been closed and that there was significant police presence.

The reason I ask, is because lots of people drive cars with dents in them. However, I wonder if the driver's side dent was ICE inflicted. And good gosh, those thugs just shoot through the front windshield.

Daniel Boucher was getting ready for work Monday morning when he heard what sounded like fireworks going off outside of his home near downtown Biddeford.

He rushed to the window, where he saw an SUV trying to ram a small white car in the intersection. Moments later, agents in vests stopped the car and pulled the driver out.

“He was bleeding profusely from the head,” Boucher said later Monday morning. “He was talking. He said, ‘I tried to stop.'”

Boucher watched in disbelief as the man’s legs stopped moving as he lay on the ground. He believes he watched him die.

But I wouldn't be surprised if there are numerous police all over the country, who still shoot tires now and then. Sometimes it's a way to disarm a drunk driver or a kid who stole his parents car.

But isn't the purpose to of the PIT maneuver to stop a vehicle. Why shoot the subject, when you can arrest him after successfully stopping vehicle?

It doesn't appear the PIT maneuver was designed to "kill drivers", but to stop vehicles.

Our son and his family live near there. It is not far from Portland and the coast. The bastards obviously shot at his head. Will this insanity never stop?
