Todd Blanche's confirmation hearing is this week. What's Collins going to do?

I saw a chyron on MSNOW that a single R vote against Blanche could sink his nomination. Tillis and others were mentioned as possible no's, but not Collins.

Is "moderate" Susan really going to vote for this guy when she's headed into a very tight election in just a couple of months? She's not even going to make her usua concerned noises and then back down?

I guess we will see soon if there is even one R who has a moral compass.

Collins wasn't mentioned as a possible no vote in the senate judiciary committee because she's not on the committee onenote 11 hrs ago #7

or avoid it altogether. I really can't see her asserting a position, standing firm one way or the other, and defending her policy... she has an almost arcane ability to effortlessly weave plausible deniability's into daily speech patterns.

but I still think that's very dangerous for her. It's something her opponent (whoever that turns out to be) will be able to use against her.

Tillis and Cornyn are on the committee, and some are speculating that one or both might not go along with the Blanche nomination.

I thought it was weird that she wasn't even mentioned. Still, I do not have faith in Tillis and Cornyn. Hope they prove me wrong.
