They said NO caffeine (I read that AFTER puking as soon as I did one sip of lemonade with caffeine). Also, like you they said "sip water". I couldn't even keep water down sometimes. But clear broth, crackers, strawberry ice pop, and non fat plain greek yogurt. Basically nothing makes sense (what I eat, when I eat, etc). Trial and error.

Asian supermarket I've been going to since 1993 but I'm not sure what sticky brown pill you are referencing. Just smelling cumin since I got sick makes me puke just from smelling it. I could never keep that down since the smell factor influences me a lot. Usually I can eat anything and everything (and I do). I eat 17 day old chicken or duck fetuses (balute in Vietnam) with no problem what so ever. I eat snails from my own back yard if I can get any. I purge them in cornmeal for a week like they do in France. That's why this illness is perplexing me.

I read that the new illness is spread through lettuce and cilantro and you can't even wash it off of foods with water. You have to actually cook the food you eat since the heat is the only thing that kills the bacteria. I do not want cooked cilantro in anything I eat and cilantro is the only thing on the current list of foods that I have bought and prepared in the last 3 weeks.
