State tells employees to report on one another for 'anti-Christian bias'

Source: Politico

The Trump administration has ordered State Department employees to report on any instances of coworkers displaying “anti-Christian bias” as part of its effort to implement a sweeping new executive order on supporting employees of Christian faith working in the federal government.

The department, according to a copy of an internal cable obtained by POLITICO, will work with an administration-wide task force to collect information “involving anti-religious bias during the last presidential administration” and will collect examples of anti-Christian bias through anonymous employee report forms.

The cable was sent out to embassies around the world under Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s name. The instructions also were released in a department-wide notice.

The cable encourages State Department employees to report on one another through a tip form that can be anonymous. “Reports should be as detailed as possible, including names, dates, locations (e.g. post or domestic office where the incident occurred,” the cable reads.

I would warn everyone that is married that if hey so much as LOOK at another person that is not their spouse, that I am reporting them for violation of their sacred vows and therefore they are anti-Christian and I am just not able to abide it any longer...

I would also warn anyone taking more than the alotted number of free sugar packets or creamer from the coffee bar that their theft is anti-Christian for me and they must immediately either undergo self-flagelating atonement or resign because they are biased against my deeply held personal Christian faith.

I would finally inform my bosses that their refusal to pass on the gifts of the spirit that the Lord has CLEARLY ordained for me via rasing my salary to $1M a month and including access to all government jets (up to and including Air Force One) is a massive anti-Christian behavior act and is oppressing me severely. I would settle for their jobs and a corner office, but anything less is an affront to the Lord...don't cha know???

dominionists beliefs. They've wanted this for a long time... to only be "bettered" by outlawing any religion that's not Christian. Of course, what these people practice is so far from what I believe christianity is, and what Jesus taught by the blue underlined words in their bible, that it'd automatically put me on the retribution list.

Seriously, this is probably because the dominionists saw all the changes maga was getting, politically, and they wanted to make sure they weren't dumped and forgotten again. This is an evil step towards a theocracy.

And so they begin with the Christian crusade and what follows that are the Christian wars. Those wars that anyone who doesn’t believe the same that you do is the enemy. Eventually the “enemy “ needs to be destroyed. Dear Gussie what are they starting? Cue Billy Jack and One Tin Soldier.
The people pushing this and pulling the strings to make it happen are truly depraved.

Print out Matthew 25: 41 - 46, and add that these are the words of Christ, then report anyone who refuses to do what Christ teaches. Including the rich helping the less fortunate. IOW every friggin Repub in America.

So put this in an email, and say you are reporting Trump, Elon, etc, for being anti Christian. And ask them if they themselves are Christians

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Religion is a private matter and should be kept out of the public sphere. If you bring Christianity into the Federal Government, this opens the door to bringing in all sorts of different beliefs and non beliefs. It is a violation of the Separation of Church and State, and is a threat to Freedom of Religion, as one religion or denomination can take hold and exclude other religions and denominations. Religion should remain a private matter for its own protection. Government must remain secular and neutral on the subject of religion. People are free to worship in their Churches, Synagogues, Mosques, Temples, etc. It is a private matter. Keep it out of the government.

Mary Frances: "She said I was not a Christian, and gonna go to hell for believing that the Host transubstantiates into the Body and Blood of Christ when I attend Mass! Lurlene is the one who's not a Christian!"
Lurlene: "What do you mean I'm not a Christian? I'm overtaken daily by the Holy Spirit and witness in Tongues , in the lunch room and NOT on the clock when I am overtaken!"
Mary Frances: "You call chittering and blithering like a squirrel in heat, 'witness in Tongues'? How's that Christian in any way, shape or form? I bet you couldn't even get through one Hail Mary!"

I have never seen anti-religious bias in the government - there isn't supposed to be anything to do with religion at all. Government is supposed to be secular and non-interfering with law abiding citizens. This is just another excuse to let religious zealots either infringe on everyone else or break the law with impunity.

Hitler formed youth groups all over Germany, who wore brown shirts and who were "supposed" to spy on their parents and other adults. They recommended crouching under an open window and reporting any anti-German, anti-Nazi party or Pro-Jew talk and the people informed on would be arrested immediately! They were later given quotas they had to fill to stay part of the party and most met their goals. My ex MIL was German who was 9 years old during WW2 and she told me many tales of horror.
