Sen. Klobuchar shares "encouraging update" from injured senator's wife

Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar shared a text she received from the wife of State Sen. John Hoffman. Both the senator and his wife were shot, allegedly by the same man wanted in connection with the assassination of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband.

Klobuchar said called the text an “encouraging update.”

The text from Yvette Hoffman indicated the senator is “enduring many surgeries” but is “closer to being out of the woods.”

Hoffman “took 9 bullets” while his wife took nine, and both are “incredibly lucky to be alive,” the text reads.

Shot so many bullets at point blank range and victims are still alive.

I have personally taken care of gunshot victims and I gotta tell you........I am not religious, but someone up there decided this world was a much better place for them being in it.............He obviously emptied one clip, re-loaded and then emptied the second one...........?????????????????????

How do you empty two clips into victims and they live?

This man pretended on his resume to run a security guard company.
Which one would assume meant proficiency with firearms.

And apparently fancies himself a clever and perfect assassin.
The planning, the disguises, the police car, etc.
But he cannot shoot the broad side of a barn and deliver the money shot to kill someone.

4. Just saw a post from the NY Post that says they got the shooter alive.
