Trump thanks Secret Service, renews call for ballroom after White House shooting

President Trump early Sunday thanked the Secret Service for their actions in neutralizing an armed man who exchanged shots with officers outside the White House on Saturday and argued that the incident shows the importance of the under-construction White House ballroom.

The latest shooting on Saturday “goes to show how important it is, for all future Presidents, to get, what will be, the most safe and secure space of its kind ever built in Washington, D.C.,” Trump said.

“The National Security of our Country demands it!” Trump added, referring to the ballroom.

... for the President and his family plus many of the top administration officials. There's no need to build another one, certainly not at taxpayer expense. Chump is free to use his own money to build one, if he so chooses.

However, he DOES OWE US for the East Wing and the Rose Garden which were perfectly fine for all of our previous Presidents. They now must be restored because Chump destroyed them for no good reason ... except that he's an asshole.

8. It could be argued that placing a ballroom in the vicinity

of a magnet for malcontented shooters is not a good idea. A resorts clubhouse would be much safer and much less costly. The ballroom as planned is a bad idea.
