Pete Hegseth Compares Iran War To Painting The Reflecting Pool Blue
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday hailed Donald Trump as the one man bold enough to do things differently as president, like unilaterally starting a war in Iran with no strategy and painting a pool blue.
When you authorized Operation Epic Fury,' just like you talked about with the Reflecting Pool, we didnt do the same old thing the way weve done it in the past, Hegseth gushed in a cabinet meeting of Trump officials taking turns lavishing the president with praise.
Trump, who beamed as his defense secretary spoke, talked at length about the potentially illegal modifications hes been making to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. A nonprofit, the Cultural Landscape Foundation, sued him this month for painting its basin blue without first going through a review process required for making changes to national historic sites.
This new blue color is more appropriate to a resort or theme park, Charles Birnbaum, the groups president and CEO, previously said in a statement.

Most things were done with checks, balances, and audits.
Most things were done with the welfare and security of our people as a priority.
Most Federal agencies had qualified people doing their best to serve their country.
Nope, we sure don't do things the way they have been done in the past.
