the examples he cites, at least both sides in the conflicts view the other side as human.

I'm pretty sure those people dragging the bodies of young women and celebrating it by kicking the body do not view any Jewish person as "human". Just like the Nazis in Hitler's Germany gassing 6 million Jews (and other people).

BTW, we never sat down over the peace table to negotiate with either Germany or Japan in WW2. It was unconditional surrender followed by occupation.

6. ww2 was not the same dynamic. i do think this conflict is a bit different, tho.

there is something about jews that makes ppl insane. i abs think all the tough guy theater going on these days is a part of this.

my comment from yt-does a big show of justice help? part of the irish accords was a truth commission. it sucked. i think for these kind of things to b put in the past, the truth must be laid out, at almost any cost. sometimes that means letting monsters go if they tell all. sometimes truths come out in trials. they’re still fighting about who was a hero and who were the monsters in NI.
