Two shots to get the party started. Now, a Mudslide; vodka, Kahlua, Irish cream, and heavy cream. Yummy!
My time with dessert cocktails will end when I run out of heavy cream. Then its back to the traditional: Martinis, Manhattans, Metropolitans, Old Fashioneds, etc.
I love you all

(69,812 posts)The scene in which Bugs, disguised as Leopold Stokowski, puts arrogant opera singer Giovanni Jones through the wringer, are the funniest moments in cartoon history.

You ever try Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka?
Ill take that as a recommendation.

(26,525 posts)More fitted for a brandy snifter - has a very unique (in a good way) taste.

Partake of whatever makes you feel good. It doesnt have to be alcohol. This is a do your own thing safe space.

(532 posts)Decided on a Rye Boulevardier. Cheers!!
Aristus
(69,812 posts)I dont have any rye in the house right now. I usually try to keep some around to make a good New York Sour. Great cocktail. The red wine says elegance. The rye says I will CUT you, bro!
Chicagogrl1
(532 posts)Its basically a Negroni w/ Rye instead of Gin

(30,108 posts)Pickle Back Dill Vodka and V8 Bloody Mary?
These 2 ingredients, plus ice, make the perfect Bloody Mary. No more mixing 5 different liquids and 4 different seasonings. A ratio of 1-2 or 1-3 vodka/mix is heavenly. Nothing else needed.

I dislike Bloody Marys intensely, unfortunately. Its the tomato juice
ShazzieB
(20,442 posts)No thank you on the tomato juice.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one!

(532 posts)V8 BM mix?? Never seen it. Ill take a pass, though on the pickle vodka. Not a fan of pickles.

(30,108 posts)My son and fiancée brought me a basket of goodies for my birthday. The Dill Vodka and the V8 BM included. First I became aware of it. Bought 3 bottles at Walmart today.
Funny story, a few years back I wrote a comment to V8 on their website and suggested a co-marketing opportunity with Lee and Perrins and a lime juice producer. Not saying that they produced this because of my message, but it was kind of a marketing no brainer.

(123,507 posts)I was not amused to see that others had the same thought I did this week. I went to Costco to get a bottle of Canadian and one of Irish whisky, ahead of more tariff bs. Apparently, many people had the same idea. Not a single bottle of either, not even an empty space. We do have several craft distilleries but, YIKES!!! I hope my wine holds out!
Ive had my eye on a bottle of Crown Royal - Vanilla for when I finish my bottle of CR-Apple. I hope its still in the liquor case at Safeway.
I want this shit to end
