"Murderbot" AppleTV. Highly recommended it.

Alexander Skarsgård (Tarzan, Big Little Lies, True Blood) is Murderbot.
We’ve watched the first 6 episodes. Love it.

NO SPOILER here because this is spelled out in the first 30 seconds. He’s a security robot/clone who’s hacked his own system. He also watches all 19 seasons of a night time soap opera set on a spaceship. Murderbot is basically an unstoppable killing machine getting a better understanding of humans.

He’s forced upon a group of nerd scientists on a remote planet by the funders of their exploration.

Foul language

Very funny.

That's something the books can't show, how emotional he gets when his favorite characters are dissed, showing us the exact clip he's quoting, playing the SM theme song, and so on. Pretty soon we'll be saying "That's like Episode 468 of Sanctuary Moon."
Honestly, I was more excited to see Sanctuary Moon than Murderbot. It's his training to be or at least understand humans.
