My surprise is that McDonalds didn’t make the top ten.

On the rare occasion I go to a burger “joint” my favorite is Burger King based on the burger not the fries.

My wife and I found that Raising Canes is a hidden treasure.

she makes a beeline for the golden arches.

I think a lot of people like them. It's just not fashionable to admit that you like anything from McDonalds these days.

and I haven’t been in a Hardee’s in at least 30 years, and I don’t recall the fries being all that special. Arby’s curly fries are pretty good, but I’m pretty sure the crinkle fries are frozen Ore-Ida

Fifty years ago, when I was in college, the student union junked its food service and put in a Hardee’s. I was made manager of the student radio station that summer, and was practically living at the union. I ate Hardee’s at least twice a day five to six days a week.

No mas.

I liked McD's fries, BK's, Five Guys, and Wendy's, not necessarily in any order.

When I get that craving I head to Burger King... because it's the closest.

Not very discerning I guess.
