I miss Hawaii, sigh. I used to go to Maui every February or March and stayed in Napili, but I haven't been back since March before the Lahaina fire. My friend and I remarked at how green everything was; little did I know that the same greenery would cause a disaster a few months later. I hope to go back in 2026, but I'll see -- I don't want to make things worse.

Chi megwetch for your kind words.

We had a cockaTIEL for years, but she appears to have choked on something.

HER job was to sing along with music box on her cage, to wake us up! VERY sweet.

We named her CIELA, This word itself is rooted in the Latin word caelum, meaning "heaven". HEAVENLY! Heard the word/name first on our honeymoon in Italy, family called out their little girl CIELA!!!
