May it be beautiful before me.
May it be beautiful behind me.
May it be beautiful below me.
May it be beautiful above me.
May it be beautiful all around me.
Above and below me hovers the beautiful
I am surrounded by it
I am immersed in it
The mountains, I become part of it
The herbs, the fir tree, I become part of it.
The morning mists, the clouds, the gathering waters,
I become part of it.
The wilderness, the dew drops, the pollen
I become part of it.
From the doorway of rainbow,
The path out of which is the rainbow,
The rainbow passed out with me,
The rainbow rose up with me.
Through the middle of broad fields,
The rainbow returned with me
With the rainbow hanging high over your head, come to us soaring.
With beauty before me
With beauty behind me
With beauty above me
With beauty below me
With beauty all around me
It is finished in beauty.
It is finished in beauty.

Right now, all I have are tears. I'll have to come back here later and add to this. 💔💔💔
Hours later, still tears. This one really hits hard.
There was not another person on this board who brought more joy to me personally, and, I imagine to all of us.
Lolcats was the one place on DU where I knew I would find laughter and happiness. Guaranteed. Every single time. And how we needed it. We will always need it. Bob left quite a legacy. How I wish I could have known him in real life. I am grateful I knew him through his posts.
I know that every Sunday I'm still going to be looking for that early morning post that I knew was going to make me laugh and smile.

(12,287 posts)What gentle and kind soul. His Sunday morning posts were a favorite of my younger child and I for many several years and will absolutely be missed.

(12,217 posts)If we are measuring our collective loss against the brightness he brought to every Sunday I can now remember, I can't imagine the loss being felt by those friends and family that were part of his "real" life.
I don't know what to say next, so I think I should end now.
Bon voyage, SCE!!!

(12,217 posts)I wonder how many hours Bob's (feels strange to use his real name) substantial efforts kept me entertained, delighted or simply diverted from the awfulness that seems to surround us now.
