He had the "drunk" thing down pat...probably because he used to be one. I stopped watching him long ago because I felt he was making fun of alcoholics. I don't think I ever saw him promoting Alcoholics Anonymous or any other program. Maybe he did, I just never saw it.

We had a friend who would start laughing uproariously as soon as the bit started. Belly laughs, chuckles, guffaws. It was more fun to watch him than the tv.
