One thing I just can't stand on Facebook:

When someone you really cared about has died over the past 12 months, and it's his/her birthday and he/she receives well-meaning birthday wishes because his/her friends didn't know that he/she has died. And in spite of it being announced on his/her FB page.

I know it's ingenuous and not meant in any kind of negative purpose.

But it hurts to read stuff like "Hope all is well with you!"/"Smile: it's your birthday!"/Etc.

And to be fair, there have been some mindful posts that say "I'm thinking of you"/"I miss you."
