US Olympic Team Opening Ceremonies Coat

The long cream colored coat by Ralph Lauren worn by the US Olympic Team during the opening ceremonies caught my eye the moment I saw it. A perfect combination of look and function for me. I searched for it online and it has a $1,998 price tag to it and it was completely sold out. Definitely out of my budget even if it was in stock but it is one fine looking coat.

1. I dunno. I'm sort of tired of the Ralph Lauren

looks. I wish they’d open it up to other American designers. I really liked the Austrian and Czech outfits, as well as some of the others. China’s was the least interesting.

Don’t get me wrong. The white coats are nice, just not my favorite.

4. Did you notice China made the women and men wear a different color jacket?

I didn't see any other country which did that kind of gender specific dressing.

5. The cream coats were interesting, but all I could think is how dirty they would get--especially

along the hems. I assume they were wool--beautiful, but they were really long and like I said, dirt-attracting.
