I simply rub a dab of CHAPSTICK on those nose pad surfaces ...and VOILA!...NO SLIPPING.(I see this "Nerdwax" advertized everywhere. It's three times the price for what you'd pay for THREE good ol' Chapsticks.)
P.S. - The chapstick has been in my top desk drawer since 1995. LOL!!! Has worked like a charm on my lips for all those years. And now MY GLASSES!

Thanks for the tip!

(33,745 posts)9. Eyeglass Frame Grips Hinge Tighteners
Frame Grips Hinge Tighteners are rubber rings that give your glasses a secure tight fit. These rubber rings also decrease the chance of the pins and screws becoming loose or fall out. Helps reduce slipping. Easy to use.
Rubber Hinged Rings provide flexible tensions for a secure and comfortable fit.
Helps keep your glasses properly and comfortably adjusted.
Hinge Rings give spring action to temples.

(3,519 posts)13. I FOUND AN ACTUAL SOLUTION without spending any money!
Originally I had 'opined'...(LOL!) that Chapstick would work, but no.........................A SIMPLE REGULAR OLD RUBBER BAND laying around the house in a drawer or wherever you keep such things.
I found TWO small ones after watching this and it's been TWO HOURS with NO SLIPPAGE AT ALL! Try it.
THIS ONE WORKS...
