Ok, I am a pro-AI-as-a-tool person. I view it as an exoskeleton that allows me to shift left complexity.

I have created some songs w/ Suno. Suno is the same AI tool musicians use to create Demo tapes. It's also fun, though obviously the quality can vary depending on how much time is spent curating the output (the Human in the Loop portion).

Is this a new forum for people? Or would this appeal to Lounge or GD?

2. Maybe try the Musicians Forum?

if your goal is for musicians to use AI as a tool in songwriting/demo creation and not just making more AI slop with little if any artistic creativity.

You listed the primary reasons why I am not going to that forum. If I were ever to bring AI there, it would be controlled and based on very explicit use cases.

For the record, Suno is being used by composers for their demo tapes, so it is mainstream - just not super public

However, most lectures will be performative rather than actually relevant. TBH, I get that people do not understand how much of their lives is based on agents, but I also get the general pushback.

For the most part, there is still a craft for those who can push the envelope and create something useful and artistic. This is what my question is about
