Have always loved them….and it does take me back to a simpler time. Or am I mistaken about simpler times……

7. I assume they have been affected by the pesticides that have been devastating the bees

If farmers are smart, they will be using better techniques to reduce the amount of pesticides, because they need the bees as much as anybody. But in my area, about 98% of the plant farming is corn or soybeans, which need no bees.

in our facility's backyard I saw them last summer! The yellow, and green ones.

I didn't see them yet a few days ago. When the heat wave breaks I'll go down and check again.

10. We bought two fly traps at Menards

I hung one outside yesterday, and I bet I trapped 500+ flies in 24 hours. I'm going to hang the other one by my pond. Seriously, get one or two of these, they work great for house flies. I haven't caught the first fire fly, which is good.
