21. They're the social fair food. Never failed at Oktoberfest (in Germany) that a funnel of pommes frites

didn't bring hands from around the globe grabbing a few.

I met so many people as they stole my fries. All in good fun.

Met people from Italy, England, Australia, etc...

The folks from Australia were the most fun.

In NYC we have these semi-big, big street festivals which always include some kind of food.

Then, there's the dedicated Sat & Sun Ninth Ave Food Festival (that has other stuff, too) a weekend after Mother's Day fom 57th St down to ?39 th St.
There, most Ninth Ave restaurants, and bakeries participate in it, plus other food vendors, and maybe other restaurants that come along. It stopped for 2, or 3 yrs re: covid. I hope I finally get back there next year.
It's great fun!

31. The yearly Puyallup Fair offers the Earthquake Burger.

Half a pound of beef broiled on a bed of Walla Walla sweet onions. I can only ever eat one. It’s a gut-bomb. But it’s heavenly.
