(41,040 posts)How lucky you were to have such happy memories of being at your Grams house!
They have a real nice little Farmers Market once a week downtown there starting in July. I signed the abortion rights amendment petition there!
I had a Grandmas house that gave me happy memories, too. 5 minute walk from Harding High school.

(530 posts)comfortable house, welcoming steps, with awesome trees.
Reminds me of staying overnight at my grandma's house, watching Johnny Carson and then climbing up into the big featherbed and falling asleep.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
