That whole album was great. Opens with this killer 2 gear song.
Trower is not remembered like he should be. He was an early Hendrix disciple who was able to extend the envelope.
And what a tone! One of the few whose main tone was the middle pickup on his Strat.

The venue is about two hours north of my home. I've never seen him in concert and might attend.

Like Stevie Ray Vaughan, he was infused with Hendrix but developed his own distinct and instantly recognizable sound and style. He also had James Dewar, one of Rock's greatest vocalists.
