learned that GWBush* had been reelected in 2004. Wow, was that a grim morning-- and adding to the trauma (Maron could scarcely speak), his producer started playing (Don't Fear) the Reaper... It DID break the silence, at least... Both funny and tragic at the same time.

I wish Air America was still around. I know they all ( Mark, Chuck D, Randi, Cenk,Thom Hartmann, Al Franken, Rachel Maddow, Cenk Uygur, Lizz Winstead, Sam Seder, ) have podcasts now. But it was so nice just to turn on the radio in the morning and just leave it on. NPR is good but no where near as good.

I love how they take a dark lyric, but make it upbeat feeling.
Plus, the guitar solo is awesome. All in locrian & aeolian mode, which I believe makes it totally unique in rock music. Those modes give it that Middle Eastern sound.
