I remember this in heavy rotation on MTV.
I had my system configured to get TV audio through my stereo. (Thanks to our soundman who worked for a cable company. He had all sorts of cool gadgets.)
This song was one of the "turn it up" songs when it showed up on MTV.
Back in those days we went to The China Club & this song came on that huge soubd system.
The beat went through us to the bone. Especially that low synth bass.
