Funny story – I went to an outdoor concert festival in South Florida where Deep Purple was the headliner.

The only problem was they had to follow Savoy Brown. Savoy Brown had the crowd up, cheering, jumping, and boogieing down. Deep Purple, for all their talent, was not a boogie band. So there was a little adjustment and let down when the Savoy Brown Blues Band left the stage and Deep Purple cranked up.
