I went with fish and chips. We used to bike around that area. There are a couple of loops that fit that restaurant in and the old general store which burned down,

(155,525 posts)It's a craggy sort of beach with rocks and gravel all around. But I love the crashing waves and the birds.

(25,616 posts)It's been 40 years but I think Davenport was north of Half Moon Bay, it was such a totally cool place back then. Loved all the little inlets.

(6,358 posts)I did the bike portion of a triathlon from SC to there and back. Plus did it to see what it would be like race day. Very scenic. That whole coast there is.
