(98,434 posts)Maybe Saturday, I looked at the moon shortly before it sank below the mountains and I saw a bright as Venus light.  Then I realized it was moving.  It was the ISS!
I haven't seen it in a year or so.  Now I can't seem to catch it without looking up where it is.

(98,434 posts)Went right past the moon while I was looking at it and wondering how Venus got way over there.
Guess it was my lucky day to see the ISS.

(155,525 posts)But if you get up while the sky is still dark, well before the sun rises, then that's maybe a better opportunity!
That's what I did early this morning. I got up just after 3 a.m. and decided that would be a good time, and it was!
Since I was up already, it was easy.
