This is a difficult shot. The moon is so slender that the camera has trouble focusing. I took maybe 7 exposures and only this one turned out. I did do some post-processing.

(154,657 posts)We had been heavily clouded-in all day--until this evening! Then suddenly the clouds broke up, and the skies cleared!
I looked out my kitchen window, and there it was.
I was galvanized!
