NGC 2359 the thors helmet nebula

trying out a new remote telescope. so far im impressed. This is with a 20" telescope located in Chile.
its 31 hours of exposure using 3 different filters to isolate the gases in teh nebula.
I processed it in Pixinsight and photohop into the SHO palette which is what the hubble uses

4. It's the Thor's Helmet nebula, not Thor's Head. Wikipedia:

I could stare at this for hours, seeing shapes and faces in it's creation. Like watching clouds pass and changing shapes.

That looks EXACTLY like Thor's helmet! I had to tilt my head to one side just a little to get the full effect, but it is there in all its horned glory! Great work!
