(10,831 posts)My dream is to live in a place like that.
Looks like there's a lot of work going on there!
If it weren't for all the arthritis, I'd be volunteering to come help, and I wouldn't let you see the tiny house that I'd be building in the field.

(8,516 posts)Volunteering need not need physical labor after all. You could free us for other work while you tended to our dog and cat, who are always looking for back scritches and head pats.
Meanwhile, Thank You for your comments, especially being up front about sneaking around in the field!

(10,831 posts)I pet-sat for 20 years. And had dogs, cats and birds of my own.
I've seen the pictures of your dog and cat, and I'm already in love with them, so I'll pack the car up tomorrow and I'll be heading your way.

(8,516 posts)That's if you drive. By air my wife and I would re-mortgage our house, re-take out a big loan and charter a Gulfstream both ways and come getcha. We're easy. Thank You!!

(10,831 posts)Although, I now have an EV and I have yet to take a road trip with it. I have a level two charger at home so I'm spoiled.
You're definitely not allowed to remortgage the house. You just got there! I could see from things on your porch that there's definitely work to do. Money needs to go to all that fun work. (That IS a really clear photo!) Can see projects that are either going into, or have come out of the house. Even though it's work, it has to be an absolute joy to be able to live there! Can you tell I'm jealous?
