As I promised a dear friend a little while ago, without further ado lol, here they are. HINT, it's worth the click lol.

Taken with an old and I mean OLD Nikon D3100 that's at least 15 years old but well kept. Please remember that in some cultures or beliefs, Dragon Flies and Butterflies can carry spirits or bring messages to them.
If you're so inclined, please speak to the next ones you see and say hello to friends in the hereafter, or enjoy the temporary companionship that a familiar visitor brings.
Love, John
The only editing was to zoom and center.

(26,346 posts)We've had plenty around our little farm pond this year since the swallows turned their noses, (beaks?) up at the new gourds.
Thank you!

(797 posts)When sitting in my backyard very still, sometimes a butterfly will alight on me, my open book, or the lawn chair. This only started happening to me since my mom passed. When this happens, I softly say Hi Mom.
That is such a beautiful and perfect example. It's so nice to have the gifts that stillness brings to us be so richly rewarding to our souls.
Thank you.
