Related: About this forumMy attempts capturing a hummingbird at the feeder.
Hummingbirds are migrating right now and our hummingbird feeders have been quite active. I never tire of watching them.

We haven't seen any hummers since spring.

(155,518 posts)Were you using a tripod? I know I would be! But I tend to wobble.
Anyway, keep at it!

(15,273 posts)I was just sitting on a lounge chair, but I did have my camera focused on the feeder.
But . . . I may set up a tripod in the future and connect my shutter release.

(123 posts)saw a guy feeding a hummer with a bottle cap full of sugar water. The hummer would land on his hand and drink.
